What comes with the keychain?
It arrives fully assembled with a 3D printed base in your choice of color, the switch you picked, a transparent Cherry profile keycap already installed, and a removable clasp.
Which switch can I put on it?
Any switch in the selector on this page, which is the same library the custom testers pull from. Linears, tactiles, clickies, silents and hall effects are all fair game.
Can I change the switch later?
Yes. The base is hot swap, so the switch pulls out the same way it would out of a tester and you can change what you are carrying whenever you want.
Do some switches cost extra?
A few do. Any switch with a surcharge shows the extra amount on it in the selector before you pick it, and the total is added to your cart as a separate surcharge line.
How does it attach to my keys?
A removable clasp is included. If you would rather use your own ring or cord, the hole in the base is 3mm across.
Is it ready to use when it arrives?
Yes. It comes assembled with the keycap on the switch. Nothing to solder and nothing to put together.
What is the difference between this and the switch fidgets?
Capacity, mostly. This one holds a single switch, the 1x2 Switch Fidget holds two picked the same way, and the 1x4 Switch Fidget holds four of one switch type rather than switches you pick individually.
