Keyboard Protection
Each stand comes equipped with cork pads and silicone bumpers for board protection and also for slippage prevention. The bottom of the stand also comes equipped with nonslip silicone to prevent the stand from shifting around.
One of the main goals of this stand design was to prioritize keyboard safety.
Holds Heavy Keyboards
Another goal was maximum keyboard compatibility.
This stand has 4 shelves, each supporting 15 lbs / 7 kg. The top shelf has even been tested with 25+ lbs / 11 kg as pictured. This stand is designed to be very robust, and it should not have any issues holding the vast majority of keyboards.
Each shelf supports a depth of about 6.5 inches, so most keyboard widths fit, but it is suggested to measure larger width boards to ensure compatibility. The top shelf can support a larger width board if necessary. The inner 5th slot has slightly less depth, but it still measures around 6.25 inches.
Overall Dimensions:
The stand measures roughly 320mm x 110mm x 320mmm which equates to about 12 5/8" x 4 3/8" x 12 5/8"
USB Dongle Storage
Tired of losing or mixing up USB dongles?
Each stand has a total of 28 USB dongle slots for storage. There are two per side on each shelf, so 4 total per shelf. The internal shelf has 6 on each side, so 12 total on the internal shelf. Dongle slots have been designed to fit dongles snug so they are unlikely to fall out.
*Please note: Dongle slots are not powered or connected to anything, they are purely for dongle storage and organization.
Pegboard Slots
Here's a fun one! Pegboard slots are included on the back of each stand, and there are even two slots on the sides near the very back (as pictured). These slots match the dimensions of Skadis, and should be compatible with most small Skadis accessories and Skadis hooks.
Clackify Skadis accessories are soon to come to the store, so keep a lookout!
Note: Make sure to pay attention to the spacing on the back of the stand versus the spacing necessary for any non Clackify accessories. ALSO, note that any Skadis hooks that twist are not compatible with this stand.
